Tenant Talk Niagara exists for one reason: Niagara residents deserve clear answers about their housing rights.
I started this space after working in the housing industry since 2020 and completing my property management program. Every day I saw the same gap — tenants facing eviction notices, rent increases, maintenance issues, or confusing Landlord & Tenant Board (LTB) forms with no one to explain it in plain English. Legal jargon and fear shouldn’t decide who keeps a roof over their head.
Here, we break down tenant rights and landlord responsibilities under Ontario’s Residential Tenancies Act. Evictions, arrears agreements, A/C rules, Bill 97 changes — we translate it so you can actually use it. No law degree required. Just real guidance, real resources, and real talk about fair treatment and stable housing.
